The Norm Lydiard Annual “Breath of Hope,” charity golf tournament was founded by two lung transplant patients and their caregivers in 2008, we have been working to help lung transplant patients ever since. Attending the golf tournament allows you to enjoy a fun golf experience; while helping others.

Our mission is to support lung transplant patients, patient caregivers, and the medical professionals who care for them. We inform and educate patients on resources available beyond their personal medical insurance coverage including but not limited to housing,  medical, and financial assistance.

Our goal is to provide new patients with a community of fellow transplant recipients who understand their journey and can assist by sharing and encouraging in a positive and supportive manner.

We do this by subsidizing medication costs, helping with housing expenses, assisting with travel expenses, paying for other costs not covered by insurance, and by providing board approved funds directly to lung transplant patients.
